One of my favorite ideas we have implemented is the idea of Popcorn Friday. Over the summer, we purchased a popcorn machine for each building in our district with the understanding that each administrator would find someone in his or her building to pop fresh popcorn each Friday morning. The feedback has been outstanding! I've found that just a little (awesome-smelling!) snack every Friday morning goes a long way toward employee happiness and positive mindset. As you can see below, we received a generous donation from Lincoln Savings Bank to supply the popcorn for the year. I would highly recommend this idea for any school districts of all sizes.
