We are always looking to do something special for our new employees' first day of work because we know how important it is for them to feel like a part of our family. So when my wife told me she was delivered flowers during her first day of work at Hermanson Orthodontics, I knew we had to steal this idea. In our situation, we gave each new employee plants in specially-designed pot with our school district logo. These plants were still found in many of our new teachers' rooms on the last day of school!
